Along with diving to the publicly traded market, LinkedIN and Microsoft have done some useful collaboration recently. Users’ can now integrate their LinkedIN professional network with their Microsoft Outlook inbox. Currently the handy tool is still in the beta stage and updates and improvement are expected, but you can tap into the technology now.
All you need to make the integration is the latest version of the LinkedIN Outlook Connector (download here: http://www.linkedin.com/outlook/). This program can be downloaded for free. After downloading, there are a few set-up prompts to bridge the connection.
Once it is installed, you will have a LinkedIN folder in your Outlook. This folder will provide business card formatted contacts from your profile connections. Using this tool, you can enhance your communication with all of your LinkedIN connections.
