Video Marketing for Real EstateYouTube is a huge marketing tool for businesses, and we are all craving 'that' success story.  YouTube is a powerful SEO machine and if used correctly can grow your real estate business in no time! As a Realtor, are you utilizing YouTube to grow your business?  

Most of us are chomping away at the bit to make that one video that goes viral and receive thousands, even millions of hits that will lead to a huge increase in business!  It is not that difficult and is totally doable. We have all passed a video around that caught our attention whether it be one that is heartfelt or absolutely hilarious! 

So what do you need to do to get your video passed around? There are a number of small tweaks that you can do to help you get the most out of your YouTube videos.  Here are a few steps to help get you going in the right direction: 

1.  Keywords are Essential.  You have to pick the right keywords.  What do I mean by this?  You need to use Google's keyword research tool to find out what your buyers and sellers are looking for.  Google and YouTube are now linked to one another, so using Google would be a wise move.  Search for terms that may seem insignificant, such as "painting."  When people are looking to sell their houses, they are likely going to do something to spruce it up and painting an easy thing to do to get your house ready to sell.  Using this keyword could be the missing connection that is costing you views. 

2.  Add your Keywords Everywhere. Have you ever been looking how to do something and "Googled" a keyword or key phrase and found a YouTube video showing you how to do exactly what you want to do? This doesn't just happen by chance.  The words of the title have been researched so that when someone like you is looking for a particular way to do something you will find their video.  

3.  Information Equals Action. Give your viewers information they need to take action.  When buyers or sellers find your video, give them enough information to make an impact so they will likely take action.  Upload the transcript to your video as well to make your content extra-searchable. When you get your potential buyers or sellers to your video, let them know where they can go for more information. Make sure you add your website address to your video so that when they need more helpful information they know exactly where to go! 

Picking the right keywords is at the core of successful marketing.  You want to be helpful so that your viewers will come back to your channel for more great tips and when it is time to buy or sell a home, they come looking for you!
